Where the SWR1000-1500 large-roll jigger fits
The SWR1000-1500 is an atmospheric large-roll jigger. Cloth is wound between two big rolls and passed repeatedly through a shallow dye bath, with automatic pass counting and reversing.
It handles pre-treatment and dyeing in the same machine: desizing, scouring, bleaching, dyeing and washing. That suits dye houses with small batches and many varieties, where a continuous range would be underused.
Published working widths are 1,800, 2,000, 2,200, 2,800, 3,200 and 3,400 mm, so the series covers narrow shirting and wide home textiles.

Typical figures for atmospheric large-roll jiggers (reference values per industry standards)
| Item | Reference value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Liquor ratio | 1:3 to 1:5 | Bath holds only part of the cloth |
| Fabric speed | 20 to 120 m/min | Constant linear speed under control |
| Process temperature | Up to 95 to 98 °C | Atmospheric limit |
| Passes per dyeing step | 4 to 12 | Set by dye and depth of shade |
Reference values per industry standards for this type of machine. Final figures for an order are confirmed in the quotation.
Selection points for the SWR1000-1500
Width choice. Six widths are offered. Choose the one that fits your widest cloth, then check bath width and door.
Atmospheric limit. For cotton, linen and viscose it works well. For disperse dyeing of polyester above 100 °C, go to the GR680 series.
Auto functions. Pass counting and reversing reduce operator error across shifts. Ask which of them are standard and which are programmable.
Roll size. Confirm roll diameter and weight for your heaviest lot.
Auxiliaries. Large rolls benefit from a cloth discharge unit and a liquor circulation pump.
Typical applications of the SWR1000-1500 Atmospheric Jigger
- Reactive dyeing of cotton and linen woven fabric
- Desizing, scouring and bleaching before dyeing
- Dyeing of silk, nylon and rayon at low tension
- Many-colour small and mid-size lots
Configuration options
- Cloth discharge unit (optional)
- Liquor circulation pump (optional)
- Dye dosing tank (optional)
- Central control for several jiggers (optional)
Items marked optional are available on request. The final configuration is confirmed on the quotation.
SWR1000-1500 Atmospheric Jigger: frequently asked questions
Which widths are available?
1,800, 2,000, 2,200, 2,800, 3,200 and 3,400 mm.
Can this jigger dye polyester?
Not with disperse dye at high temperature. It is an atmospheric machine. For that, see the GR680 high-temperature high-pressure jiggers.
What does it do automatically?
Pass counting, reversing, direction change and stop.
Why choose a jigger over a jet machine?
A jigger runs open-width cloth under low tension with a short bath. Fabric that creases or marks in a rope machine often suits it better.
